PDF processing stays on your device
PDFVault reads files you explicitly select or drop into its workspace. PDF bytes, page previews, watermark images and watermark text are processed locally by bundled libraries. They are not uploaded to WD DIGI, Lemon Squeezy, an AI provider or an analytics service. There is no browsing-history access or content script.
Local storage and memory
Imported PDFs and output files remain in workspace memory until it is closed, reloaded or cleared. Downloads you save remain on your device. Chrome local storage holds appearance preferences, daily job counts and temporary quota reservations. If you activate Pro, it also holds your license key, random profile identifier, provider instance ID, session token and signed access receipt. This storage is not document encryption and is not synced by PDFVault.
Licensing and payments
Activating, checking, deactivating or managing a license sends your license key, random profile ID, app version and instance/session identifiers to pdfvault.wddigi.com. The service verifies the license with Lemon Squeezy and returns a signed access receipt. It reads purchase email, order and subscription status from Lemon Squeezy to verify ownership and payment. The PDFVault license service does not persist a customer database or log request bodies. Hosted infrastructure necessarily handles connection information such as IP address and request time for delivery and abuse prevention.
Lemon Squeezy hosts checkout, handles payment details, taxes, receipts and subscription management under its privacy policy. Payment-card details never enter the extension. PDFVault does not sell personal information, serve advertisements or collect analytics.
Support
If you contact support, WD DIGI processes the product, reply email and message you submit to respond to your request. The central support form uses Cloudflare and Resend as service providers. Do not send PDFs, passwords, API keys, card data or license keys through the support form. See the WD DIGI privacy policy.
Your choices
Free tools do not require an account or network access after installation. Pro requires an internet connection for activation and periodic verification; cached access lasts up to seven days and cannot exceed the paid period or an eligible renewal grace period. Deactivate from License to release the profile. Removing the extension clears its local storage; it does not delete saved downloads or cancel your subscription.
